Instructor Training and National Certification

National On-Site Workshop & Certification

Twice a year the Atlantic Riding Center for the Handicapped holds a National On-Site Workshop & Certification. Those interested can take both together or attend just the Workshop followed by the Certification within a two year period of the Workshop. Those wishing to become a NARHA Registered Certified Instructor should contact NARHA (NARHA.org) to complete Phase I of the certification. Those who have completed Phase I or wish to take the Workshop only can call ARCH directly to register (609-926-2233).  On-Site Workshops & Certifications are usually held in May and October.

Certified Instructor Candidate Mentoring Program

People interested in becoming a nationally certified instructor need to have 25 hours of instructing experience prior to attending an On-Site Certification. ARCH can provide mentors to assist with this requirement. Please call the ARCH office for more details (609-926-2233).
